The single truth about money most people

are never taught

The single truth about money most people are never taught

Most people think about money as numbers on a screen: earn more, spend less, save, invest.

But money is so much more than the logical, math equation we were taught.

It’s also energy.

And how you feel around that energy influences:

  • How easily money flows in and out of your life

  • How much peace you can feel with what you have

  • And whether money feels like support or stress

This is why two people can earn the same amount and live in two completely different worlds.

One lives with money as a source of tension and anxiety, feeling like it’s never enough.

The other experiences money like a friend: a supportive presence you can receive with gratitude, hold with calm, and release without panic.

This is what Ken Honda calls Happy Money.

And over two live days in Sydney, he’ll show you how to finally make money your friend too.

Happy Money

Your path to inner peace, purpose & prosperity

According to Ken, money is not only a financial tool. It is also a mirror that magnifies what you feel and believe.

That is why “Happy Money” is not about getting smarter with money.

It is about aligning three inner forces that quietly run the show.

Pillar 1: Your Money Blueprint

Your Money Blueprint is the invisible script that shapes how you earn, hold, and relate to money.

It’s formed through what you lived, learned, and inherited, and it quietly influences your choices long after you “understand” money logically.

When this blueprint is healed, money stops triggering the same old stress patterns, and starts to feel safer to receive and keep.

Pillar 1: Money Blueprint — premium Japanese-inspired still-life
Pillar 2: True Ikigai — premium Japanese-inspired zen photography

Pillar 2: Your True Ikigai

Most people have seen a simplified version of Ikigai.

Ken teaches a deeper lens rooted in Japan, designed to reconnect you to the purpose and life that feels meaningful, energizing, and true.

And when your life purpose becomes clear, money begins to flow through aligned synchronicities and opportunities.

Pillar 3: Your Hidden Gifts

Your gifts are not just what you are good at.

They are the natural strengths you bring into the world, often hidden in plain sight because they feel effortless.

When you use your gifts with intention and confidence, abundance becomes less about forcing and more about attracting.

Pillar 3: Hidden Gifts — premium Japanese-inspired origami photography

Align these three pillars and money shifts from “unhappy money” into Happy Money: more joy, more serendipity, more trust, and a deeper sense of peace with whatever comes and goes.

Who the Happy Money Intensive® is for

It does not matter whether you are building a business, leading a team, supporting clients,

or simply trying to feel steadier in your own life.

You likely recognize yourself in one or more of these patterns:

The Conscious Creator

You are an entrepreneur or leader carrying loads of responsibility.

You want money to feel clearer and lighter as you expand your impact.

The Heart-Led

Guide

You support others in your work, as a coach, facilitator, healer, or therapist.

You want your money flow to match your values.

Spiritually-Open, Money-Conflicted

You believe in abundance, but money still brings friction, guilt, or mixed feelings in the background.

High-Performing Overthinker

You do fine on paper, but money still triggers second-guessing, need for control, or a desire for more.

If you’re ready to experience abundance without sacrificing yourself, this is where it begins.

Agenda

Across two immersive days, Ken will take you

through a clear arc

awareness first, then alignment

This is not a seminar where you just take notes.

It’s a guided experience designed to shift what money feels like in your body, not just what you think about it.

Day 1

Awareness and Healing

You begin by seeing what has been running in the background: the beliefs, patterns, and emotional triggers that shape your relationship with money.

Day 1 Workshop Session

You’ll explore:

  • The myths and stories most people inherit about money

  • Your Money Blueprint, and how it was formed

  • Your Money Container, and why money can feel hard to hold, even when you earn more

  • The difference between Happy Money and Unhappy Money, and how emotion shapes your experience of wealth

  • Your Money Personality Type, and what it reveals about your habits with earning, saving, spending, and worry

Day 2

Integration and Expansion

Day Two turns insight into a new way of living: abundance with more peace, purpose, and alignment.

Day 2 Workshop Session

You’ll explore:

  • A gratitude-based ritual to begin shifting what wealth “means” in your system

  • Arigato In, Arigato Out, and how to let money flow with more ease

  • The mindset and emotional posture behind sustainable abundance

  • A deeper model to Ikigai, and what it reveals about your purpose and direction

  • Your Gift Archetypes, including what blocks them and how they want to be expressed

  • Future-vision practices designed to anchor a new normal you can actually live

After this TWO day intensive, you will...

Feel calmer with money

day to day

Less bracing when you check your balance, fewer spirals when a bill hits, less guilt after spending.

Make clearer money decisions with

less overthinking.

You’ll stop delaying simple actions like sending an invoice, raising a price, following up, or making a purchase you already know you need.

Become more

comfortable receiving.

More ease accepting payment, support, generosity, and opportunities, without immediately shrinking, justifying, or pushing it away.

Stop repeating the same “money sabotage” patterns.

Less undercharging, less avoidance, less chaotic spending, less proving yourself through overwork.

Create more stability with what you already earn.

More intentional spending, fewer financial surprises, and a greater sense of “I can handle this,” even as money comes and goes.

Leave with clearer

direction and priorities.

A sharper sense of what you are building toward, what to say yes to next, and what to stop doing because it is not aligned.

Become more confident using your gifts to create support and abundance.

Your work will feel more natural, your message clearer, and the path to being well-supported will feel less like force and more like fit.

What people have experienced through Happy Money wisdom

Quotation mark icon

“This event reminded me that wealth is more than money. It’s also relationships, connection, and being around people who genuinely care. Ken has a gift for creating that kind of environment, where what you learn goes beyond ideas and turns into direction. I left with clear next steps and a stronger sense of what I want to build from here.”

Mark · USA

Quotation mark icon

“I came in a little skeptical. I’ve learned from the best, I had all the tactics, yet I kept hitting the same income cap and riding this exhausting rollercoaster. Being in the room helped me see I’d been grinding without realizing it. Nothing magically changed in my bank account overnight, but the heaviness lifted. I’m leaving with a new relationship to money, one that feels more like ease and flow, not pressure.”

Ben · Sweden

“I realized I wasn’t allowing myself to receive, and I wasn’t allowing myself to shine. I could finally see how that had been slowing me down and keeping me from the life I want. After the experience, I feel a real sense of freedom, and deep gratitude.”

Satoko · Japan

“I was drawn to Ken because his teaching felt different. It wasn’t just about ‘mindset’ with money, it was about the energy behind it, and learning how to trust the flow. The bigger surprise was what opened up beyond money. It softened me and opened my heart, and I left feeling like money is only one door, with something much deeper behind it.”

Jules · France

“This experience was a catalyst. I saw how I tend to hold back my gifts and how I don’t always allow support into my life. Over the days together, it felt like we moved through real blocks and old energy, and the connection in the room became surprisingly deep, like a family formed fast. It’s hard to explain, but it’s the kind of shift you can really only feel in person.”

Sidney · Singapore

“For me, the value was being in an environment where people look at business, relationships, and life in a way that sustains joy. It was uplifting, and it brought up topics we rarely get to explore in normal life. I’m still processing, but the shift feels deep. It made me question how I want to adjust my path so it truly supports my joy, and helps me live more in alignment.”

WORTH REMEMBERING

Happy Money Intensive takes place in the heritage-listed Gallery Room at the State Library of New South Wales, a beautiful, intimate space within one of Sydney’s great cultural institutions.

And there’s something beautifully fitting about having this conversation here.

David Mitchell spent decades building an extraordinary collection of books, manuscripts, maps and historical material.

When he passed away in 1907, he left the collection to the Public Library of New South Wales, together with a substantial endowment so it could continue to grow.

He turned personal wealth into something that would outlive him.

And that’s what makes this such a fitting place to explore the idea of Happy Money.

Money isn’t only about what we accumulate. It’s also about how it moves through our lives. What we receive, what we enjoy, and what we happily give to others.

Mitchell’s wealth moved beyond accumulation and into contribution.

The result is a legacy that, more than a century later, is still being experienced by people he would never meet.

And now, within the Library his generosity helped shape, you’ll gather with Ken Honda to explore your own relationship with money and, ultimately, what you want your wealth to make possible.

A remarkable room. A story of generosity.

Two days somewhere worth remembering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything worth knowing before two days in Sydney. Anything not covered here, reply to your confirmation email and we will sort it out.

Where is the Happy Money Intensive held?

At the State Library of New South Wales, 1 Shakespeare Place, Sydney NSW 2000.

Within walking distance of the Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay and the harbour waterfront, with views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge — perfect for combining deep learning with Ken Honda with a little Sydney exploring.

The Intensive takes place in the Gallery Room, a beautiful heritage space with high ceilings and a decorative stained-glass window.

What are the dates and times?

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January 2027, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day (Sydney local time).

Please arrive early for check-in and have your ticket barcode ready to scan. Doors open at 9:00 AM.

Do I need to attend the Happy Money Summit first?

No. The Intensive stands on its own.

It is designed to follow the Summit on 29 January and most people do both, but nothing across the two days assumes you were in the room the day before.

How do I get to the venue?

Martin Place Station is the closest station and is wheelchair accessible. Circular Quay, St James and Wynyard are all within a comfortable walk, and buses run along Macquarie Street.

If you are driving, the nearest car park is approximately 300 metres away. Click for car park details.

I am travelling from overseas. Do I need a visa?

Almost certainly, yes. Most visitors need a visa or an ETA approved before they board the flight, and which one applies depends on your passport.

Eligible passport holders can apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601), which is only available through the official Australian ETA app and carries an AUD 20 service charge with no visa application fee. Eligible European passport holders may instead apply for an eVisitor (subclass 651). Other visitors may need a Visitor visa (subclass 600).

Check what applies to you at immi.homeaffairs.gov.au.

Use the Department of Home Affairs for official visa information. Be careful of third-party sites that charge far more than the official fee.

Apply as early as you can. If you need a letter confirming your registration to support an application, reply to your confirmation email and we will send one.

What will the weather be like?

Late January is high summer in Sydney. Expect daytime highs around 26–27°C, overnight lows near 19°C, humid air and the chance of an afternoon shower.

The Gallery Room is air-conditioned, so bring a light layer you can put on and take off.

What should I wear, and what should I bring?

Comfortable smart-casual, in layers. You will be sitting, moving and doing reflective work across two long days, so choose what you can stay comfortable in.

Bring a pen, a reusable water bottle and your ticket barcode for check-in.

Where should I stay?

Anywhere in the Sydney CBD puts you within walking distance of the Library.

Partner hotels and booking details will be emailed to participants.

Can you cater to dietary requirements?

Lunch is included on both days. Please let the organiser know about any dietary requirements or allergies in advance so they can confirm what can be accommodated.

Will the Intensive be recorded?

Recording and replay policy to be confirmed.
